The Rhode Island Independent Constable Association (RIICA) is comprised of certified constables who are sworn to uphold and enforce the laws of the State of Rhode Island under the authority of the courts.
All RIICA members are required to maintain an active constable license through the Rhode Island Department of Business Regulation (DBR). This includes submission of continuing education documentation, proof of bonding, and a clean Bureau of Criminal Identification (BCI) report at the time of renewal.
While the Department of Business Regulation maintains an official list of all licensed constables in Rhode Island, the constables listed on this site are members who have chosen to increase their professional visibility and public outreach. These members are actively seeking to provide constable services to individuals, businesses, and legal professionals throughout the state.
