All Rhode Island State Constables are required to be licensed and bonded by the Chief Judge of the District Court in order to serve process for the courts in which they are licensed within the State of Rhode Island.
The RI Constable Regulation Program is administered under the direction of the Chief Judge of the District Court of Rhode Island (RI General Law 5 8-8-12.1 )
